Elite Moisture Solutions was called to inspect this property because the homeowner was concerned about mold growth in their water closet. The inspector found visible mold growth on the master bathroom ceiling and walls which is likely due to a leak in the upstairs bathtub. Additionally, visible mold growth was found in the property’s basement due to elevated moisture and humidity levels. The inspector recommended the property be placed under negative air, contaminated sheet-rock and trim be removed, interior surfaces be hand cleaned with an antimicrobial solution. Once the job was complete, the inspector went back out to perform a post inspection and took additional air samples to confirm the job was completed properly.

				From the very first contact, they were very responsive, addressed all concerns, explained the steps they would take to remedy the moisture issue and then performed the work with the same attention to detail and thoroughness.  Will definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone who has a moisture, fungal, mold, crawl space issue.

				I had a gentleman show up to inspect a mold issue. He was very professional, on time, courteous, and helpful. We had a bit of a precarious problem (a dead cat was found in our crawl space) and he handled it professionally and privately to not disturb the kids. The man deserves an award! Thanks for all that you do!

				Chris and Ben did such a good job explaining the moisture and mold issues I had in my crawl space. They were very punctual and reasonably priced. If anyone ever needs their crawl space encapsulated, give them a call! Highly recommended!

I called Elite for a quote and on the same day, Chris shows up and provides an estimate before he left my house! Based on his knowledge of mold remediation, sump pumps and french drains, and his incredible professionalism - we booked him for the job. His crew was on time every day, and gave a detailed description of what would be accomplished that day and they always came through. 				BEN and their AMAZING CREW saved OUR HOUSE!!! Nightmare scenario - Google Fiber's contractor hit our main water line with a backhoe during their network install. After a year of denying the damages (which occurred on private property - a whole other saga), their insurance adjuster finally agreed to repair/replace our water line. BUT the City of Durham REFUSED to... read moreBEN and their AMAZING CREW saved OUR HOUSE!!! Nightmare scenario - Google Fiber's contractor hit our main water line with a backhoe during their network install. After a year of denying the damages (which occurred on private property - a whole other saga), their insurance adjuster finally agreed to repair/replace our water line. BUT the City of Durham REFUSED to grant them a permit to work in the right of way where they need to access our water line!  Exactly where the City granted a permit to Google to install their fiber. So around and around we went. Another year goes by. The City, Public Works Director Williams, Mayor Schewel, City Council COMPLETELY FAILED to help us. The City even sent us a DISCONNECTION notice when we tried to get the City's attention by not paying a month's water bill (>$600). The leaking water (~14,000 gallons!!!) eventually infiltrates our basement and causes a severe mold infestation throughout the crawlspace, house and attic. MOLD was everywhere, even within some of the walls and floors (original marble) which all had to come out. Ben, Chris and their crews thankfully took on the job and helped us tremendously. The crews worked so hard and were incredibly thorough. It's tough to go through a mold remediation and the crews brought humor and good attitudes with them everyday!! Ben was exceptionally knowledgable, supportive and patient. There was a lot to deal with and Ben helped us navigate through it all. He was there for us each and every step of the way. After 3 rounds of remediation, ALL the mold was finally GONE (as was most of our stuff... sigh). MOLD FREE IS A VERY HAPPY DAY! Months after the mold was gone, Ben took time out of his busy schedule to meet onsite with Google's insurance agent. He is continuing to help during the lawsuit we have had to file against Google Fiber, their contractors and the City of Durham. You can TRUST Ben, Chris and their crews. They have EXPERTISE, INTEGRITY and most of all, THEY CARE!! read less
