FRENCH DRAIN INSTALLATION IN NORTH CAROLINA

Heavy rainfall can lead to water buildup around a home’s foundation, causing significant damage if not properly managed. At Elite Moisture Solutions, we offer French drain installations in North Carolina to help redirect water away from your property.

Our experienced team can install French drains around the exterior foundation walls or inside the crawlspace around the foundation to fit your specific needs. With a trench filled with rock and a perforated PVC pipe, these drains effectively redirect water, protecting your home from costly water damage. For interior installations, we also provide a sump pump to efficiently remove water from your crawlspace. Trust Elite Moisture Solutions for expert French drain installations and protect your property today.

THE BENEFITS OF INSTALLING A FRENCH DRAIN

Efficient Drainage

Both interior and exterior French drain systems direct water away from your home. The extra water will be directed to your septic tank, a sump pump or to a space in your yard that sits lower than your house.

Reduces Risk of Crawlspace/Basement Moisture

Because French drains direct water away from the foundation, it prevents flooding in your basement or crawlspace and removes any excess water in the soil.

Our French Drain Installation Process

At Elite Moisture Solutions, we have a thorough installation process to ensure the efficiency and longevity of your French drain. We start with an evaluation of your property to determine the best location for the drain, then we carefully excavate the area and construct the drain using high-quality materials. Our team takes great care in backfilling the area to restore the appearance of your landscaping. With our French drain installation, you can rest easy knowing that water damage is a problem of the past.

Dig a Trench

A technician will dig a trench along the foundation wall that is having a drainage issue. The dimensions of the trench will vary based on the severity of the issue.

Lay the Perforated PVC Pipe

The technician will place the perforated pipe into the trench. The pipe should always be sloped from a higher starting point to a lower ending point that is away from the home’s foundation.

Backfill the Trench with Gravel

The technician will cover the pipe with gravel. The gravel is used to filter out any sediment and reduce the chance of the pipe clogging.
