Crawlspace Cleaning

We contacted the Elite to encapsulate the crawlspace at our home in Wake Forest . The guys were quick and very professional. Chris the owner was very knowledgeable and gave us a few options to best finish our project. hands down a great company to work with and will recommend them to anyone needing this done.

Elite performed mold removal and crawlspace encapsulation. They were easy to work with and did a great job. The one negative in the experience was the unexpected cost of reinforcing some floor beams, which had water and mold damage that was not seen until they pulled out the insulation. Highly recommend this company!

Elite incapsulated our crawl space and found a solution to fit our budget with wood that was damaged. Their team was very helpful with any questions we had from beginning to end. The inspector, office workers, cleaning crew, wood workers, electrician, encapsulation team and the project manager all did a great job. They got it done in a week and I could tell a difference in the house and how the air quality was by the next week. We had three different quotes for our crawlspace to be encapsulated. We chose this company to perform the work and are glad we did. We had a great experience through the whole process. From Jonathan coming out to do the initial inspection and explaining all our options to the crew who did the work and Ben our project manager. All were extremely polite, courteous and knowledgable. The crew kept everything clean, answered all our questions during the process and addressed all our concerns. Ben came out to inspect everything and make sure everything was done correctly. He took us under the house and showed us a minor leak we need to get repaired, along with showing and explaining to us how we needed to care for our dehumidifier. I was very anxious about this whole process, however they put my mind at ease and we have been enjoying breathing a little easier in our house now. It is so rare these days to find a company who is responsive and breaks down and explains everything along with performing well on the job and this company nailed it!!! We have been recommending them to friends already!

I hired Elite Moisture Systems to encapsulate the crawl space under my home. Actually, I began by asking Elite and three other companies to assess the situation under my home after being told by my flooring contractors that wood rot and mold issues existed. I knew next to nothing about the conditions under a house here in hot and humid North Carolina. Over the next few weeks, I was properly educated. The four companies, including Elite came out and gave me feedback after examining the crawl space. Three were extremely professional, and all three gave a similar diagnosis about what needed to be done. I received four bids to correct the existing issues. Elite Moisture Systems' bid was not the least expensive or the most expensive. It was, however, the most comprehensive and the one that seemed most likely to correct the problems in the short-term and in the long-term. Chris Toro, the company owner, spoke to me on several occasions and answered my questions in a respectful manner in spite of my lack of knowledge. He educated me about encapsulation, mold remediation, wood moisture levels, etc. I did my own research to verify that what he was telling me was factual. It was. The crew who did the project consisted of Shaliek, Jeziah, and Dylan. They arrived punctually for five straight days and worked diligently to do the work called for in our contract. They cleaned the crawl space, removed old insulation, eradicated existing mold, lined the crawl space floor, insulated the foundation walls, dug a French drain, added a sump pump, installed a dehumidifier, etc. (Not necessarily in that order). After all that they cleaned up and hauled away the trash created. Shaliek spoke to me daily about what was being done and answered my questions. It's been about a month since the full encapsulation of my crawl space was completed. I can tell that my home is cooler inside, and I can see when I peak my head under the house that the work done was done well. I thank Chris, Shaliek and crew, and Elite Moisture Systems for the professional work they did, for the courteous and respectful interactions we shared, and for a dry crawl space for the foreseeable future absent rotting wood and mold right under my family's living space.
