This crawl space encapsulation project was initiated by a concern for high levels of moisture within the flooring system along with standing water that had accumulated within the crawlspace. Unfortunately these conditions created an environment where mold was spreading unchecked on the flooring system, and after a thorough inspection it was determined that the mold would need to be remediated along with encapsulating the crawlspace to prevent the conditions that had caused the mold growth.

After getting several evaluations and quotes for crawl space encapsulation, we chose Elite Moisture Solutions based on the online reviews and our interactions with Chris. Chris spent sufficient time to explain the best solution for us, including the work plan, quote, timing, and warranties. Ben and his team arrived on time each of the 4 days, met us in the morning to explain the day's work, and at the end of each day to give us an update. Elite performed mold removal and crawlspace encapsulation. They were easy to work with and did a great job. The one negative in the experience was the unexpected cost of reinforcing some floor beams, which had water and mold damage that was not seen until they pulled out the insulation. Highly recommend this company!

Our home was built in 1994 and the old (primitive) method of crawl space grading and a corner drainage pipe stopped working (the pipe clogged after 30 years). Chris and his team, who are very professional, assessed the situation and presented available options (as well as inspecting for mold). We decided to go with the full encapsalation and our crawl space moisture issues as well as the potential for mold are gone. Highly recommended and it was a pleasure to support a local business.

After speaking in detail with Robert, I found him and the entire team at EMS to be extremely helpful in better understanding what my options were and the price point was perfect for my budget.
