Elite Moisture Solutions was called to this property inspect and address elevated moisture levels and mold growth in the crawlspace. Upon inspection, evidence of surface mold growth was found on the structures floor joists. The homeowners shared that the crawlspace has had previous mold growth and an unsuccessful remediation with a different company. The inspector recommended that the crawlspace be treated for mold and a full crawl space encapsulation system be installed to prevent future moisture issues. Once the job was complete the inspector performed a post inspection of the space to ensure everything was done correctly and to ensure the homeowners were satisfied!

				Our home was built in 1994 and the old (primitive) method of crawl space grading and a corner drainage pipe stopped working (the pipe clogged after 30 years). Chris and his team, who are very professional, assessed the situation and presented available options (as well as inspecting for mold). We decided to go with the full encapsalation and our crawl space moisture issues as well as the potential for mold are gone. Highly recommended and it was a pleasure to support a local business.

				About a month ago we had a very bad storm that dumped about 3in of rain in a hour. The next morning I checked our crawl space and found so much standing water. Panic set in. We immediately called a company to come out and give us a quote that company quoted us $27,000 for full encapsulation with no other option. We called three additional companies Elite Moisture being one of them. Kaya was great to talk too and assured me since we were a good distance from them Chris would have no problems coming out for an estimate. Chris showed up exactly as he said he would and was awesome to work with from the start. He explained everything so well and didn't once pressure us or try to scare us into one option or another. The best part was he answered the phone every time I called and never once seemed bothered by all of our questions. Once we agreed to their bid we were giving a time and date which thankfully was only a couple weeks out. The crew were nice and polite and even with my wife working from home she barely knew they were there. They finished up July 3rd and just a few days later Tropical Storm Chantal came through resulting in us getting 6in of rain here on Sunday. Monday morning I checked the crawl space and it was bone dry down there!!! We can't thank Chris and his crew enough!!! I added a before an after picture of the morning I found all the water and the morning after Chantal came through

				Elite performed mold removal and crawlspace encapsulation. They were easy to work with and did a great job. The one negative in the experience was the unexpected cost of reinforcing some floor beams, which had water and mold damage that was not seen until they pulled out the insulation. Highly recommend this company!

				Elite Moisture Solutions encapsulated my crawl space and installed a dehumidifier. They were very efficient, removing ladders and other things I had stored there, and removing old plastic and old construction debris from when the house was built. Their personal were friendly and kept me abreast of their progress, which only took a couple of days. They did all this at a reasonable price as compared to some other quotes I got. I would definitely recommend Elite Moisture Solutions for your crawl space needs.

				Chris, Ben, and team did a fantastic job on the crawl space encapsulation for my home in Durham. Ben led the project and gave me updates along the way as to exactly what they were doing and why. 				We had three different quotes for our crawlspace to be encapsulated. We chose this company to perform the work and are glad we did. We had a great experience through the whole process. From Jonathan coming out to do the initial inspection and explaining all our options to the crew who did the work and Ben our project manager. All were extremely polite, courteous and knowledgable. The crew kept everything clean, answered all our questions during the process and addressed all our concerns. Ben came out to inspect everything and make sure everything was done correctly. He took us under the house and showed us a minor leak we need to get repaired, along with showing and explaining to us how we needed to care for our dehumidifier. I was very anxious about this whole process, however they put my mind at ease and we have been enjoying breathing a little easier in our house now. It is so rare these days to find a company who is responsive and breaks down and explains everything along with performing well on the job and this company nailed it!!! We have been recommending them to friends already!
