Elite Moisture Solutions was called to this property inspect and address elevated moisture levels and mold growth in the crawlspace. Upon inspection, evidence of surface mold growth was found on the structures floor joists. The homeowners shared that the crawlspace has had previous mold growth and an unsuccessful remediation with a different company. The inspector recommended that the crawlspace be treated for mold and a full crawl space encapsulation system be installed to prevent future moisture issues. Once the job was complete the inspector performed a post inspection of the space to ensure everything was done correctly and to ensure the homeowners were satisfied!

				Our home was built in 1994 and the old (primitive) method of crawl space grading and a corner drainage pipe stopped working (the pipe clogged after 30 years). Chris and his team, who are very professional, assessed the situation and presented available options (as well as inspecting for mold). We decided to go with the full encapsalation and our crawl space moisture issues as well as the potential for mold are gone. Highly recommended and it was a pleasure to support a local business.

				We had three different quotes for our crawlspace to be encapsulated. We chose this company to perform the work and are glad we did. We had a great experience through the whole process. From Jonathan coming out to do the initial inspection and explaining all our options to the crew who did the work and Ben our project manager. All were extremely polite, courteous and knowledgable. The crew kept everything clean, answered all our questions during the process and addressed all our concerns. Ben came out to inspect everything and make sure everything was done correctly. He took us under the house and showed us a minor leak we need to get repaired, along with showing and explaining to us how we needed to care for our dehumidifier. I was very anxious about this whole process, however they put my mind at ease and we have been enjoying breathing a little easier in our house now. It is so rare these days to find a company who is responsive and breaks down and explains everything along with performing well on the job and this company nailed it!!! We have been recommending them to friends already!

				I hired Elite Moisture Systems to encapsulate the crawl space under my home. Actually, I began by asking Elite and three other companies to assess the situation under my home after being told by my flooring contractors that wood rot and mold issues existed. I knew next to nothing about the conditions under a house here in hot and humid North Carolina. Over the next few weeks, I was properly educated. The four companies, including Elite came out and gave me feedback after examining the crawl space. Three were extremely professional, and all three gave a similar diagnosis about what needed to be done. I received four bids to correct the existing issues. Elite Moisture Systems' bid was not the least expensive or the most expensive. It was, however, the most comprehensive and the one that seemed most likely to correct the problems in the short-term and in the long-term. Chris Toro, the company owner, spoke to me on several occasions and answered my questions in a respectful manner in spite of my lack of knowledge. He educated me about encapsulation, mold remediation, wood moisture levels, etc. I did my own research to verify that what he was telling me was factual. It was. The crew who did the project consisted of Shaliek, Jeziah, and Dylan. They arrived punctually for five straight days and worked diligently to do the work called for in our contract. They cleaned the crawl space, removed old insulation, eradicated existing mold, lined the crawl space floor, insulated the foundation walls, dug a French drain, added a sump pump, installed a dehumidifier, etc. (Not necessarily in that order). After all that they cleaned up and hauled away the trash created. Shaliek spoke to me daily about what was being done and answered my questions. It's been about a month since the full encapsulation of my crawl space was completed. I can tell that my home is cooler inside, and I can see when I peak my head under the house that the work done was done well. I thank Chris, Shaliek and crew, and Elite Moisture Systems for the professional work they did, for the courteous and respectful interactions we shared, and for a dry crawl space for the foreseeable future absent rotting wood and mold right under my family's living space. 				Elite Moisture Solutions encapsulated my crawl space and installed a dehumidifier. They were very efficient, removing ladders and other things I had stored there, and removing old plastic and old construction debris from when the house was built. Their personal were friendly and kept me abreast of their progress, which only took a couple of days. They did all this at a reasonable price as compared to some other quotes I got. I would definitely recommend Elite Moisture Solutions for your crawl space needs.

				Elite incapsulated our crawl space and found a solution to fit our budget with wood that was damaged. Their team was very helpful with any questions we had from beginning to end. The inspector, office workers, cleaning crew, wood workers, electrician, encapsulation team and the project manager all did a great job. They got it done in a week and I could tell a difference in the house and how the air quality was by the next week. I am very please with the results and have peace of mind with the new system that is in place.

				Elite performed mold removal and crawlspace encapsulation. They were easy to work with and did a great job. The one negative in the experience was the unexpected cost of reinforcing some floor beams, which had water and mold damage that was not seen until they pulled out the insulation. Highly recommend this company!
