Elite Moisture Solutions was called to this inspection because the homeowners were concerned about elevated moisture levels and mold growth in the crawlspace. During the inspection, our specialist identified evidence of surface mold growth on the floor joists and girders. The inspector took humidity samples throughout the crawl space and found levels ranging between 60-62% which is elevated when comparable to the exterior relative humidity sample of 30%. The insulation was found in average condition and showed signs of moisture damage and deterioration. An incomplete vapor barrier was found in this crawl space as well. Based on the inspector’s recommendation, the crawlspace was treated for mold, a new high-quality vapor barrier was installed, and the sump pump was replaced. After the work was complete the inspector performed a post mold removal inspection to guarantee the work was done properly!

				This company did a great job for me. They cleaned up the mold, removed old insulation, installed new insulation & dehumidifier and made my crawlspace to work efficiently to keep out the moisture and stay dry. I could not be more pleased! Plus every guy they sent out was polite and did good work to get my crawlspace up to snuff. Thanks guys!!

				After shopping around for mold removal companies to treat my crawlspace, I finally found Elite Moisture and I'm happy I did!  They were professional, timely, and reasonably priced.  One of the major differences between them and the competition is their methods.  While most other companies offered to spray the mold, elite treats and vacuums away the mold for complete removal of allergens.  They were very responsive and thorough.

				Our crawlspace was in desperate need of attention with standing water constantly collecting after heavy rainstorms. I called Elite for a quote and on the same day, Chris shows up and provides an estimate before he left my house! Based on his knowledge of mold remediation, sump pumps and french drains, and his incredible professionalism - we booked him for the job. His crew was on time every day, and gave a detailed description of what would be accomplished that day and they always came through. For anyone in Downtown Raleigh or the Raleigh area, I would highly recommend Elite Moisture Solutions!

				They came in and did what they said they would do. Had them install a new vapor barrier, clean up any mold, and replace my insulation. I looked super clean when finished. They even alerted me to my hot water heater leaking, which I replaced. They even suggested that I add some vent wells to keep water from getting. I was very pleased with their service. Would recommend them to anyone.

				I originally reached out to EMS as a 3rd candidate for a quote to encapsulate my crawlspace. 				Elite performed mold removal and crawlspace encapsulation. They were easy to work with and did a great job. The one negative in the experience was the unexpected cost of reinforcing some floor beams, which had water and mold damage that was not seen until they pulled out the insulation. Highly recommend this company!
