				I hired Elite Moisture Systems to encapsulate the crawl space under my home. Actually, I began by asking Elite and three other companies to assess the situation under my home after being told by my flooring contractors that wood rot and mold issues existed. I knew next to nothing about the conditions under a house here in hot and humid North Carolina. Over the next few weeks, I was properly educated. The four companies, including Elite came out and gave me feedback after examining the crawl space. Three were extremely professional, and all three gave a similar diagnosis about what needed to be done. I received four bids to correct the existing issues. Elite Moisture Systems' bid was not the least expensive or the most expensive. It was, however, the most comprehensive and the one that seemed most likely to correct the problems in the short-term and in the long-term. Chris Toro, the company owner, spoke to me on several occasions and answered my questions in a respectful manner in spite of my lack of knowledge. He educated me about encapsulation, mold remediation, wood moisture levels, etc. I did my own research to verify that what he was telling me was factual. It was. The crew who did the project consisted of Shaliek, Jeziah, and Dylan. They arrived punctually for five straight days and worked diligently to do the work called for in our contract. They cleaned the crawl space, removed old insulation, eradicated existing mold, lined the crawl space floor, insulated the foundation walls, dug a French drain, added a sump pump, installed a dehumidifier, etc. (Not necessarily in that order). After all that they cleaned up and hauled away the trash created. Shaliek spoke to me daily about what was being done and answered my questions. It's been about a month since the full encapsulation of my crawl space was completed. I can tell that my home is cooler inside, and I can see when I peak my head under the house that the work done was done well. I thank Chris, Shaliek and crew, and Elite Moisture Systems for the professional work they did, for the courteous and respectful interactions we shared, and for a dry crawl space for the foreseeable future absent rotting wood and mold right under my family's living space. 				I began researching how to best treat for high humidity in my 23 y/o house and crawlspace with the problems of condensation and wood mold and drooping floor insulation in the crawlspace caused by this situation. Then after interviewing 4 companies I chose Elite Moisture Solutions. All companies were comparable in price and had few differences in the materials they used to encapsulate. Chris, the owner of Elite was easy to talk to, timely in answering my request for an evaluation and seemed knowledgeable about the materials and policies of this largely unregulated industry with relatively new companies entering. I have concerns about the lack of skills and training in many businesses compared with 30 years ago. Chris allayed my concerns by describing his team and their training and longevity within his company. The process was scheduled within 2 weeks. The team under the management of Ben were exceptional, working together cohesively with respect for each other, with clear concise instructions from Ben who was diligent and answered my every question. This is a huge exhausting job and yet the team worked cheerfully anticipating what would be needed next. They removed insulation and the inadequate vapor barrier, leveled the ground, disinfected the mildew all prior to sealing the vents, insulating the walls and covering the floor then installing the new dehumidifier. Research revealed that air in our first level of the home is permeated with air from the crawl space. This was confirmed the night we slept without the vapor barrier when it smelled like we were camping on dirt! Of course now the house has low humidity and no odors since all has been sealed. It is difficult to think about what a nice vacation I could have taken with the cost of this project but it was the right thing to do for our own health and for the best resale of our home one day. I am so thankful to Chris, Ben, Shaliek and Kaya at Elite Moisture Solutions for their commitment to doing Quality work with integrity. Thank you.

				Elite incapsulated our crawl space and found a solution to fit our budget with wood that was damaged. Their team was very helpful with any questions we had from beginning to end. The inspector, office workers, cleaning crew, wood workers, electrician, encapsulation team and the project manager all did a great job. They got it done in a week and I could tell a difference in the house and how the air quality was by the next week. 				About a month ago we had a very bad storm that dumped about 3in of rain in a hour. The next morning I checked our crawl space and found so much standing water. Panic set in. We immediately called a company to come out and give us a quote that company quoted us $27,000 for full encapsulation with no other option. We called three additional companies Elite Moisture being one of them. Kaya was great to talk too and assured me since we were a good distance from them Chris would have no problems coming out for an estimate. Chris showed up exactly as he said he would and was awesome to work with from the start. He explained everything so well and didn't once pressure us or try to scare us into one option or another. The best part was he answered the phone every time I called and never once seemed bothered by all of our questions. Once we agreed to their bid we were giving a time and date which thankfully was only a couple weeks out. The crew were nice and polite and even with my wife working from home she barely knew they were there. They finished up July 3rd and just a few days later Tropical Storm Chantal came through resulting in us getting 6in of rain here on Sunday. Monday morning I checked the crawl space and it was bone dry down there!!! We can't thank Chris and his crew enough!!! I added a before an after picture of the morning I found all the water and the morning after Chantal came through
